Continuing to Provide Psychological Services via Face-to-Face & Telehealth
NOW OFFERING Assessments for Children & Adolescents
Opening our new branch in Rowville from January 2022!
We are committed to providing a safe place for therapy. During the current pandemic, we are continuing to provide face to face and telehealth services. Our clinic is compliant with the State Government COVID-19 safe recommendations including QR coding up on entry and when required, social distancing, hand sanitisation and the wearing of face masks. We understand that this can be uncomfortable especially if people are feeling anxious or panicked but we ask that masks are worn in all areas where required for the protection of yourself and others accessing the clinic. Our staff are diligent in maintaining clinic hygiene and where possible, using contactless payment options.
We respectfully ask that if you meet any of the below criteria, to please get a coronavirus test and attend the clinic upon receiving a negative result. This will ensure the safety of all our staff and clients:
Emerald Psychology Child and Adolescent Centre offers a uniquely designed, safe, fun space for young people to do therapy. The centre is purposefully developed for children and adolescents with consideration given to creating a non-clinical environment that feels inviting and developmentally appropriate.
In order to see a psychologist and access the Medicare rebate, you must be referred by your GP, Psychiatrist or Pediatrician. Your GP will complete a detailed mental health assessment and prepare a Mental Health Care Plan before referring you to a psychologist.
