About Our Practice

The Emerald Psychology Practice is an established community based Psychology and Counselling service with clinics in Emerald and Rowville. We provide comprehensive therapeutic services in a safe and comfortable environment. We work with children, adolescents, couples and families with a dedicated Child and Adolescent Centre in Emerald. Our Psychologists and Counsellors have a range of skills and expertise so you can be sure that we can support your mental health needs. The Emerald Psychology Practice promotes and values a respectful and client-centered approach and understands the challenges people face when experiencing everyday struggles.

Child and Adolescent Centre

Emerald Psychology Child and Adolescent Centre offers a uniquely designed, safe, fun space for young people to do therapy. The centre is purposefully developed for children and adolescents with consideration given to creating a non-clinical environment that feels inviting and developmentally appropriate.

How Can I see a Psychologist?

In order to see a psychologist and access the Medicare rebate, you must be referred by your GP, Psychiatrist or Pediatrician. Your GP will complete a detailed mental health assessment and prepare a Mental Health Care Plan before referring you to a psychologist. If you have Private Health cover or want to pay privately, you can book an appointment at anytime.Find Out More
